Abstract In rock magnetism, Vibrating-Sample Magnetometer (VSM) data displays magnetic moment in specific field applied descending and ascending magnitude, which results a pattern called hysteresis loop. This loop characterizes different materials depending on its shape. recent years, the usage of computer software to analyze has become necessary due precision. Easily executable, intuitive, user-friendly open-source programs for analyzing VSM are still not widely available despite their utilization. HYSGUITS was designed with this issue mind further improve development tools field. is Graphic User Interface (GUI) data. MATLAB suitable base producing GUI compared other programming language sophisticated features clean visualization. able visualize ways, mainly through difference magnetization value 1 st derivative. The graph as an interactive plot window provides detailed observation each points, supported by such interpolation smoothing. article introduces functionalities demonstrates utilization example use case.
